The location, staff, and value for money were perfect for what we needed. The bar downstairs was handy for a cool beverage. Surprisingly, our room was not disturbed by any of the bars' noise. The room was clean and tidy with a little mini bar fridge, coffee machine, hair dryer, and kettle. Would definitely go back.

Brodie the manager is worth his weight in diamonds- from the moment of our arrival he made us feel welcome and helped me so graciously with a medical issue I had while there. The rooms are quaint and ours had a delightful little balcony to enjoy. Old world charm with new world comforts. I can never thank Brodie enough for his A+++ hospitality!!! Give the man a raise! Started off with a great experience with the staff checking us in and the room itself was so lovely with great decor and everything you could possibly need from a hotel (kettle, hairdryer, tea and coffee). The pillows and the bed itself were so comfortable and a decent size for my partner and I. We had a great nights sleep. Definitely recommend!

Staff were absolutely friendly and helpful. Close to anywhere, so i got to explore a bit in between going to the embassy and waiting for my flight back. I love how the hotel feels like it's telling a story about its history through all the small details around the place. Also, providing earplugs in case it's too noisy for the guest downstairs is a lovely touch.

Room was clean and well presented. I liked the old style charm of the hotel. It was a mid week stay, but found it to be quite a night, which surprised me considering how busy the traffic etc was outside the hotel.

Lovely old building. The interior complements the aged features of the building and was a welcomed escape from modern designs. The staff were exceptional and the location superb!
